$26K METH BRICK LEFT IN RIDE SHARE LEADS TO TENDERLOIN BUST

A forgetful rideshare passenger in San Francisco left a massive stash of meth behind, leading to his own bust by the boys in blue. The driver flagged down cops in Union Square around 2 p.m., pointing out a backpack forgotten inside the car. 🚔 Sure enough, when the po-po searched the pack, they found over 350 grams of suspected meth — worth about $26,625 on the street. Quick-thinking officers hatched a plan to return the backpack at the suspect’s motel. When he showed up, they popped him and took him downtown. The 41-year-old Sacramento resident, Jessie Ottman-Combs, was booked for drug possession, transportation, and paraphernalia charges. He was released on his own recognizance but is due back in court Thursday. If convicted, he’s looking at up to two years for possession and nine years for sales or transport. 🏛️
