Cops kicked down the door to a shed in Penfield Gardens, uncoverin’ a hidden trapdoor leadin’ straight to a hydroponic grow op. Inside, they nabbed 26 plants and 24kg of dried cannabis. The 38-year-old bloke from Hewett copped multiple charges, includin’ traffickin’ and cultivatin’ a large commercial quantity. He’s on bail till his court date in September.
But the plug didn’t stop there. Detectives swooped on another property at Korunye, snaggin’ a 38-year-old woman for similar offences. Both suspects are facin’ some serious time and hefty fines under South Australia’s tough asset confiscation laws. The jacks also seized a stash of vehicles, includin’ a RAM Laramie utility, a trailer, a caravan, and even a Seadoo personal water craft.
