POLICE SWOOP ON DRUG DEN IN MURGON AND CHERBOURG

The coppers kicked down two doors in Murgon and Cherbourg yesterday, nabbin' three suspects. Around midday, a crew from the local and CIB units raided a Lamb Street pad in Murgon, cornerin' nearly 13 grams of ice, some coke, weed, and a couple of knuckledusters. A 33-year-old bloke copped 15 charges, includin' four counts of possessin' dangerous drugs and one for toting a category M weapon. His 28-year-old missus was also nabbed, facin' nine charges. Both are due in the Murgon Magistrates Court on August 11. Meanwhile, over in Cherbourg, a 45-year-old bloke got hauled in after a morning raid at a Marshall Street joint. He's up for one count each of supplyin' and possessin' dangerous drugs, plus some other drug-related charges. Same court date for him too.
